We are seeking an experienced leader to join St Benedict's Catholic College, Oran Park as an Acting Assistant Principal. This is a temporary acting position for the duration of the 2025 school year.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for building a learning culture of shared responsibility for quality teaching and student learning growth, informed by data. They will also build capacity through their own professional development and supporting staff by providing access to effective continual professional learning opportunities, giving regular feedback and managing performance.

The ideal candidate will have post-graduate study in a relevant discipline and accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive partnerships with students, families and carers, the local church and the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage school processes to ensure they meet system, NESA and legislative requirements
  • Drive school improvement initiatives aligned to the school's vision and strategic plan
  • Develop and implement professional learning programs for staff
  • Build relationships with students, families and the wider community
