Senior Florist Job Description

Floral design studio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Florist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and creating high-quality floral arrangements, bouquets, and other products for various occasions
  • Providing exceptional customer service and advice to help clients select the perfect flowers and arrangements
  • Maintaining the retail display and ensuring the shop floor is well-stocked and presented to a high standard
  • Participating in the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management
  • Supporting and mentoring junior florists to develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a florist, with a strong understanding of flower types, care, and design techniques
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide tailored recommendations to clients
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Creativity and a passion for floral design, with the ability to translate ideas into beautiful arrangements
  • A team player attitude and the willingness to support and mentor more junior staff members
