We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team as a Scaffolding Design Expert. This key role will be responsible for designing and analysing scaffolding structures to meet project requirements and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have specialist experience in scaffolding design, analysis, and compliance, as well as proficiency in engineering software and CAD tools.
As a critical member of the team, you will be integral to delivering innovative, safe, and compliant scaffolding solutions for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyse scaffolding structures to meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and WHS regulations.
- Provide engineering sign-off for working loads, structural integrity, and stability of scaffold systems.
- Work closely with drafting, estimating, and project teams to develop safe and efficient scaffold solutions.
- Conduct structural computations and prepare technical documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and site teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Review and approve drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Capacity to appear on the National Engineers Register.
- Demonstrated experience in scaffold engineering design and analysis.
- Proficiency in engineering software and CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards, codes, and safety requirements for scaffolding.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
