Job Overview

The role of Payroll Officer is a critical position that involves close collaboration with business units to execute timely and accurate pay runs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll processing including off-cycle pay runs
  • Analysis and audit of all payrolls to ensure legislative and award compliance
  • Liaise with HR on employee appointments, terminations, remuneration, etc. and other relevant matters
  • Perform various ad hoc payroll duties as required
Essential Qualifications
  • 2+ years proven experience in payroll administration within a medium to large organisation
  • Strong expertise in EA / Modern Award interpretation
  • Experience with medium size payroll and time and attendance systems like Ceridian (Preceda) and Kronos
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Intermediate Excel and Outlook skills
