Our organisation is seeking a Payroll Officer to execute weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs with accuracy and efficiency.

About the Role
  • We require an individual with experience in payroll processing and management, including off-cycle pay runs, to partner with our Business Units.
  • You will be responsible for analysing and auditing all payrolls to ensure compliance with legislative and award requirements.
  • This position also involves participating in system upgrade projects and continual improvement of payroll processes.
  • Additionally, you will liaise with HR on employee appointments, terminations, remuneration, etc. and other relevant matters.
Key Qualifications
  • 2+ years proven experience as a Payroll Officer within a medium to large sized organisation.
  • A strong understanding of EA / Modern Award interpretation.
  • Experience with payroll and time and attendance systems like Ceridian (Preceda) and Kronos.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Intermediate Excel and Outlook experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
