Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to lead our team in Charters Towers, Australia.

The successful candidate will assume a strategic and hands-on leadership role, overseeing a team of multiple direct and indirect reports. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing Quarterly Reporting and ensuring compliance with complex legislation
  • Full responsibility for effective management reporting and financial analysis
  • Partnering with senior leadership to take a lead role in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to provide key financial advice and insights
  • Providing financial analysis to support new development projects, including a significant expansion
  • Providing effective leadership, upskilling the finance business partnering capability within your team, and driving continuous improvement across processes and systems.

As a qualified Financial Manager, you will have certifications like CA or CPA, and experience in management accounting/finance, preferably in a regulated industry.

You will possess strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and mentoring a team, and excellent business partnering experience that fosters collaboration with operational and senior-level teams.

The ideal candidate will have a 'can-do' attitude, inquisitiveness, and a drive for continuous improvement, and be willing to delve into detailed and complex financial matters when required.
