Empowering the Next Generation of STEM Professionals

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer STEM Coaches for the Curious Minds Program. As a STEM Coach, you will play a vital role in inspiring confidence, stimulating curiosity, and motivating young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

This eight-month program provides a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of girls in STEM and develop your own teaching and coaching skills. You will be matched with a female student based on compatible STEM interests and geographical location, and receive training and support throughout the program.

The program includes two camps for students: an in-person Summer Camp in December and an online Winter Camp in July. You will attend Summer Camp for one day to meet your student and initiate mentoring, and participate in regular catch-ups with Curious Minds staff and other STEM Coaches. Your involvement will not only benefit your student but also provide opportunities for professional development and networking.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven interest in STEM activities, a desire to work with young people, and the ability to commit to time requirements. A valid Working with Children Check or equivalent is also required.
