As a coach for Curious Minds, you'll play a vital role in inspiring confidence and motivating students to pursue their passions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop your teaching and coaching skills through training and support.
  • Connect with students regularly, increasing their confidence, stimulating curiosity, and inspiring enthusiasm for STEM subjects.
  • Attend webinars and meetings with staff and other coaches to stay informed and aligned with program objectives.
What We're Looking For:
  • A genuine passion for STEM activities and a desire to share that enthusiasm with others.
  • The ability to work effectively with high school students, providing guidance and insights into STEM careers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and colleagues alike.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent is required.
  • Commitment to the program's time requirements and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
Program Overview

The eight-month program will take place mostly online, with some in-person time required. You'll be matched with a female student based on compatible STEM interests and geographical location.

Program Highlights:
  • Two camps for students – an in-person Summer Camp and a Winter Camp held online.
  • Regular communications with your student to monitor progress and provide support.
  • Training and support provided to ensure your success as a coach.
