Live Channel Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the development and growth of our live channels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving channel success, overseeing technical operations, delivering program schedules, and developing internal programming.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior operational or production professional to join our team and contribute to planning and strategic thinking.

About the Role

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of live channels.
  • Drive the growth and success of live channels at both production and commercial levels.
  • Oversight of technical operations, including development of new systems to increase performance.
  • Oversee delivery of accurate daily program schedules and drive consistent improvements and efficiencies.
  • Develop and produce internal programming and event coverage when required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior operational or production position in live broadcast.
  • Working knowledge of broadcast technology and industry best practice.
  • Experience running the production of live or pre-recorded programming.
  • Ability to contribute to planning and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Top-level time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with inter-departmental colleagues and third parties.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and ability to translate that to internal best practice.
  • Line management of full-time staff, plus contractors.
  • Contacts within the industry.
  • The desire to learn new skills and grow as a professional.
