The Role


We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our wholesale division, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our agent network, and representing Luxury Escapes at industry events.


You will develop and implement strategies to enhance our wholesale offer, increase active users on Agent Hub, and promote our brand to the travel trade. Your primary focus will be on:


  • Achieving monthly sales targets for Agent Hub by engaging with travel agents, onboarding new partners, and collaborating with existing ones.
  • Growing the number of active agents on Agent Hub, with Luxury Escapes as their preferred supplier.
  • Increasing subscriptions to Lux+ for agents.
  • Maintaining regular interactions with agents, resulting in a set number of contacts/updates per quarter.
  • Boosting sales of LE Groups through private group departures.
  • Collaborating with commercial GMs to gather feedback on product development to drive AH sales and engagement.
  • Working with agencies and affiliates to establish strategic goals for increasing agency sales.
  • Representing Luxury Escapes at Agency Sales conferences and industry events as needed.

Your Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • Familiarity with travel trade dynamics, agency operations, and wholesale travel propositions.
  • Excellent presentation skills, necessary for communicating with agents and stakeholders.
  • The ability to develop and proactively manage a strategy for finding, visiting, and turning agents into active Agent Hub Users.
  • The capacity to establish and manage commercially beneficial relationships with agents and agency groups.
  • Effective communication skills to manage agent expectations and internal stakeholders.
  • The flexibility and creativity to adapt to new situations and challenges.
