Automation Engineer Graduate

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer Graduate to join our team and optimize Goods-To-Person automation platforms in high-output distribution centres.

  • Oriented towards efficiency, this role will ensure seamless uptime of GTP and automation platforms.
  • You will support preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing with diligence and precision.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, DC Operations, and Planning to align labour and automation strategies effectively.
  • Analyze system and operational data to maximize output and maintain consistent lead times at the lowest cost possible.
  • Develop scalable processes across low, medium, and peak demand periods.
About You

We require:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering for a solid foundation.
  • Natural leadership qualities with experience leading teams even outside of work.
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, operational environments.
  • Familiarity with automation systems is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication for effective collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required.
