About the Role

This challenging and rewarding position involves working on a variety of tasks to optimise Goods-To-Person automation platforms in a high-output distribution centre.

  • You will be responsible for improving the efficiency and uptime of GTP and automation platforms, as well as supporting preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing.
  • A key part of this role is collaborating with Engineering, DC Operations, and Planning to align labour and automation strategies, ensuring seamless integration across teams.
  • You will also be tasked with analysing system and operational data to maximise output and ensure consistent lead times at lowest cost.
Your Responsibilities
  • Optimising the efficiency and uptime of GTP and automation platforms

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Natural leadership qualities, demonstrated by leading a team even outside the workplace
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Familiarity with automation systems (e.g. Schaefer/SSI) is a bonus
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts (morning/afternoon/night)
