We are seeking a skilled Cost Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the goods and services produced by the organization are of the best price while maintaining a high degree of quality and reasonable quantities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize beverage and food cost percentages.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all goods consumed and held on premises.
- Negotiate and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain a competitive quote file for all products and review it quarterly.
- Analyze weekly bar stocktake and distribute report.
- Organize and perform monthly stock takes and calculate the cost of sales for both food and beverage products.
- Perform potential analysis and compare against usage.
- Assist in the formation of menus to optimise revenues while maximising margins and controlling food cost of sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience in cost control and financial management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
