Job Title: Strategic Product Planner

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Product Planner to lead our product strategy and drive business growth.

About the Role:
  • Develop data-driven category, sub-category, and product expansion recommendations to drive sales and revenue.
  • Take full ownership of the product Profit and Loss (P&L) including Open to Buy, Inventory Cover, and Sales Mix Analysis.
  • Create and facilitate a weekly trade meeting to present product insights across the organization.
  • Partner closely with finance teams to establish product department budgets and achieve financial targets.
  • Take ownership of inventory cover to meet sales forecasts.
  • Develop and present a buy plan in collaboration with purchasing and inventory teams.
  • Increase margin through pricing and promotional program decisions based on category awareness and performance.
  • Provide visual merchandising suggestions to brand leads.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a unified approach towards common product objectives.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving processes and frameworks for commercial decisions relating to product, sales, and margins.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience leading a team within e-commerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer markets.
  • Experience dealing with product supply from East, South, and/or Southeast Asia.
  • Advanced people management skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Be a cross-functional leader who coordinates necessary activities to bring a product from conception to market.
  • Language skills: fluency in Mandarin would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
