Your new role
As a Strategic Urban Planner, you'll manage allocated strategic planning projects and support the Principal Strategic Urban Planner in developing a long-term planning framework. Your work will guide the spatial development of the town, ensuring it aligns with community needs and future growth. You'll also provide technical planning advice and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
A degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a related field.
Experience in strategic or statutory planning within a local government or consultancy environment.
Strong understanding of WA planning legislation and frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
