Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to play a key role in the development and implementation of strategic workforce planning initiatives across a large complex frontline service agency.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and shaping of the strategic workforce planning function within the agency.
  • Lead delivery of strategic workforce objectives and transformative HR initiatives across a range of work environments.
  • Support the development and delivery of strategic HR initiatives.
  • Provide valued advice to executive and senior management to guide workforce planning activities.

They will also lead the implementation of key activities, reporting, and evaluation of the QCS Strategic Workforce Plan and manage and deliver a diverse range of HR projects and initiatives that contribute to QCS and public sector objectives.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as experience in strategic workforce planning, human resources, and change management.

They should also be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, drive collaboration and continuous improvement, and develop and implement effective solutions to meet identified needs.

A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
