Job Description

We are seeking an experienced maintenance planner to join our team at the Wagerup Refinery. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by optimising maintenance activities and eliminating waste through effective planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximise equipment availability through strategic maintenance planning
  • Schedule major outages to minimise losses and maximise value
  • Develop long-term maintenance schedules (monthly to yearly)
  • Manage stores and warehousing, sourcing parts as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong project planning experience, ideally within a heavy industrial environment
  • Proficiency in a wide range of PC software, including MS Project to an advanced level
  • Financial background would be highly advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Confidence and ability to work independently in a standalone role
