Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time WHS Specialist to serve as a designated safety professional for assigned AMZL sites. The successful candidate will coordinate and implement all areas of the Amazon Global Safety Program as directed by safety leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
- Facilitate incident investigation process and maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and local regulations.
- Enter Safety Incident Information in internal database in a timely manner and perform safety observations & audits.
- Train and assist others to complete their safety responsibilities, including audits, follow safety rules, and inspections.
- Perform specific safety training as required by the WHS Manager and participate in process improvement activities.
- Ability to communicate health and safety needs to all levels of the organization.
- Calm demeanor in emergency situations.
- Experience using Microsoft Word in a professional capacity.
- Certificate IV in WHS or a related field of study.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency response, worker's compensation case management, and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
