Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operational Excellence Strategist to drive improvement initiatives across our Specialist Operations and Coordination division.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position with flexible working arrangements available. The successful applicant will maintain a presence at our office in line with our hybrid working model.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create and implement best practice program and project management tools, methodologies, and governance arrangements to build operational excellence capability across the division.
  • Mange divisional projects using best practices to ensure timely delivery, quality, and clear communication.
  • Develop systems and processes to monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives after implementation, providing reports and recommendations as required to support continual improvement.
  • Support business plan development to meet strategic goals.
  • Drive program outcomes through genuine collaboration and hands-on championing of workplace priorities and objectives, working closely with required stakeholders.
Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should hold a postgraduate qualification or relevant industry certification (or be actively working toward one), along with extensive experience in a related field. A combination of formal training and solid practical experience will also be considered. You will possess:

  • Completion of a postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification in operational excellence or project management (or progress toward) with high-level relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and sound experience.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and building capability in project management or operational excellence, including an understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in program monitoring and reporting to support sound governance mechanisms and achievement of objectives.
  • Highly developed planning and organising skills to effectively establish the priority and scheduling of work tasks for self and others to ensure work priorities are completed on time and within budget, and to effectively operate in a high workload environment.
