This company is seeking a skilled Financial Strategist and Operations Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial operations, planning, commercial analysis, reporting, and accounting for the company. The successful candidate will partner with senior management and department leaders to provide financial leadership and guidance.

The role involves supporting the business across finance and operations areas:

  • Finance:
    • financial operations, planning, commercial analysis, reporting, accounting for the company;
    • partnering with senior management and department leaders to provide financial leadership and guidance;
  • Operations:
    • Supply Chain, Sales and Operations Planning, Customer Engagement, Warehousing and Distribution, Inventory Management;

The key responsibilities include:

  • financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to provide actionable insights;
  • preparing and reviewing financial statements, operating budgets, working capital, and cash flow projections;
  • overseeing accounting operations including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, month-end accruals, payroll, and purchase order controls;
  • driving improvement in demand forecasting and supply planning processes by identifying risks and opportunities;

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • a strong background in accounting and financial management;
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial roles;
  • product-based experience - FMCG/Manufacturing/Retail/Supply Chain (ideal but not mandatory);
  • intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
  • a CPA or CA qualification (current).
