Job Title:

Executive Director, Indigenous Education Strategy

">About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the improvement agenda to support improved performance of Indigenous learners across South Australia.

The role involves strategic connections across the department to inform curriculum strategy and policy development.

Key duties and responsibilities include working closely with all stakeholders in the Department for Education, understanding and using data to drive system change for improvement, and overseeing the positive movement of students into, through, and out of education.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic leader to join the Department for Education as the new Executive Director.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Education
  • Experience presenting to a range of diverse groups and developing working relationships
  • Experience in the development of educational programs and curriculum
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams
  • A passion for making a difference in Indigenous and young people's lives
