The university seeks an inaugural Dean, Indigenous Research and Innovation to lead the development and delivery of culturally safe research strategies that embed Indigenous knowledge and priorities across the research landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of world-class Indigenous research strategies across the University's research landscape.
- Collaborate with communities, cultural organisations, and government bodies to foster innovative research partnerships and strengthen the visibility of Indigenous scholarship.
- Guide the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Strategy and drive the recruitment, development, and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers.
- Proven expertise in advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research within complex environments.
- Ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams and foster strong relationships with diverse communities.
- Exceptional leadership, cultural fluency, and a strong track record in Indigenous research and innovation.
