Job Title: Community Support WorkerWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families.The successful candidate will have:
  • A warm and respectful approach towards working with clients
  • Genuine care for the community and connection to local networks
  • A post-school qualification in a relevant field (Health, Social Work or equivalent)
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office and client management systems
The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with clients, provide emotional support, and help them access external services. If you have a passion for making a difference in your community, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:
  • To build and nurture strong relationships with clients who access our services
  • To help clients complete forms and attend appointments
  • To support clients in navigating external services such as Centrelink, NDIS, and Department of Communities
  • To maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • To work in a multidisciplinary team and assist with intake and case management
Requirements:
