Right across the state, we are committed to exceptional care, accommodation, and support services for older Western Australians.About The RoleWe are seeking Community Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive Home and Community Care team and work in the North Metropolitan area of Perth.
We have work available in the Osborne Park to Sorrento region as well as the Highgate up to the Henley Brook region.
To be considered for these roles you must currently live within a 15 minute drive of these suburbs and have a current Australian driver's licence and a reliable car.Our Juniper Home and Community Care team provides community based care programs that assist our aged customers to continue to live independently in their own homes.
Renowned for our commitment to the delivery of person centred care and best practice in relation to the provision of quality care, you will be working in a supportive environment that encourages initiative and leadership.This position requires the delivery of personal care to our community clients.
To be considered for these roles you must have at least 6-12 months experience in the delivery of personal care (such as showering, dressing, toileting) to the aged.These positions are being offered on a casual basis.Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal care, including showering, dressing, continence careAssist Client with administration of correct medication – training providedAssisting high care Clients with activities of daily livingAssisting Clients with domestic duties, meal preparation and other household tasks to ensure safe and hygienic living conditions in their own homesSocial Support, including transport to shops or appointmentsAdherence to Client Care PlanKey RequirementsCurrent Australian driver's licence and reliable car - essentialPast experience working in Aged care is essential and this must include the delivery of personal carePrevious community experience - desirableCertificate III Aged Care - desirableDementia Care experience - desirableCurrent First Aid - desirableWhat's On OfferAttractive rate of pay $34.07 - $35.71 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications), plus 12% superannuation and 20% casual loading.Non-profit values driven Western Australian aged care providerAll employees have access to Juniperks an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives and peer acknowledgementSalary Package up to $18,550 per annum tax freeHealth Insurance discountsEmployee Assistance Program with free counsellingHow To ApplyIf you are passionate about delivering person-centred care and have the skills and experience required for this role, we would love to hear from you.
