Job Title: Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced behaviour support practitioner to join our team in the South East Melbourne region. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to grow their clinical and leadership expertise while making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop behavioural support plans that meet each individual's unique needs
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions, promoting learning and growth for NDIS participants and self-funded clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with participants, families, and carers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding results
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practice in Positive Behaviour Support
Requirements:Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
  • Strong professional experience in Positive Behaviour Support, including conduct of Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical expertise, supervision, and leadership in a team of behaviour support practitioners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely manner
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualifications or relevant certifications in Positive Behaviour Support
  • Experience working with individuals with complex and challenging needs
  • Strong understanding of legislative requirements regarding timely and accurate report writing and documentation
