About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to lead our business improvement function, drive strategic decision-making and provide insightful recommendations to mine management.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive annual business plans, incorporating regular reforecasting processes to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide capital guidance to internal stakeholders, leveraging expertise in investment analysis to optimize resource allocation.
  • Oversee the site's Business Improvement function, leading teams to identify and implement value-enhancing initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate business risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate insurance renewals and ensure effective risk management practices are in place.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial and accounting principles, coupled with experience in the mining industry. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements
  • Commercial or accounting qualifications (CPA or CA well regarded)
  • Proven experience in the mining industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
