We are seeking a seasoned researcher to lead our research efforts, informing product decisions and driving business success.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate critical thinking, communicate complex findings to stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration via research insights.

About the Role

This position requires a strong background in quantitative research methods, including log analysis, survey design, response effects, sampling, crosstabs, and statistical concepts. You will also have experience with qualitative and user-centered design methods, such as individual and group interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing, etc.

  • Conducts research end-to-end for high impact, leading stakeholders to the best collaboration with research for their goals
  • Initiates research efforts serving Product Vertical goals in the medium- and long-term given a well-informed understanding of the business
  • Formulates programmes of study and cumulative knowledge sharing relevant to the strategic objectives of their teams

Key Responsibilities

You will conduct research studies from design to execution, analysis, and communication of findings to stakeholders. This includes evaluating research opportunities, particularly with ambiguous requests e.g. importance, urgency, and impact.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or any related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains
  • Expertise at evaluating research opportunities
