Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Portfolio Management Executive to lead the implementation of our portfolio management office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing fit-for-purpose frameworks, tools, templates and capability uplift materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic governance and program management expertise to key initiatives by partnering with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of contemporary outcomes and benefits.
  • Lead the collaboration and promotion of reforms to proactively identify opportunities across the sector for delivery as initiatives, leveraging strong relationships with stakeholders to create robust submissions.
  • Drive business transformation initiatives across the organisation including the associated management and implementation of project outcomes through effective change management practices.
  • Facilitate planning, design, coordination and delivery of cross-agency projects and lead the management of specific program and project activities in line with best practice project management.
Requirements
  • Possess strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
  • Have a proven track record in strategic governance and program management.
  • Be able to build strong partnerships across agencies.
