Strategic Portfolio Director

The Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod is seeking a skilled Strategic Portfolio Manager to lead and oversee strategic planning processes and systems, strategic performance reporting, and project delivery. The successful candidate will provide strategic support to the Synod Leadership Team and key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Lead and manage the Strategic Planning & Performance function to ensure that strategies, plans, capability development, and operational activities meet both current and future requirements for the Synod office.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects within the portfolio, ensuring they are prioritised, resourced, and aligned with strategic outcomes.
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and accurate reports for governing bodies and Synod leadership teams, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
