Workforce Coordinator

We are seeking a Workforce Coordinator to join our team. As a Workforce Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring services are compliant and staffed correctly across multiple locations.

  • Develop and maintain staffing rosters, monitor staff availability and leave, coordinate casual staff, and manage emergency labour hire plans with third-party agencies
  • Resolve workforce-related issues, including leave and emergency shortages, and provide HR policy guidance
  • Ensure adherence to child safety and service standards, and generate reports on staffing, attendance, and workforce trends for senior management
  • Ensure casual staff maintain certifications and complete mandatory training, such as First Aid and child protection
  • Foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, improve retention, and implement strategies to enhance casual staff satisfaction

To be successful in this role, you will require a degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field (preferred) with proven experience in multi-site workforce coordination and scheduling ideally in education or care services. You will also possess strong organisational, resilience, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage operations across multiple locations and work collaboratively or independently.
