Airfield Operations Specialist

About the Role:

Maintaining airfield safety is a top priority. As our Airfield Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with rigorous guidelines.

You will work closely with our Senior Airfield Operations team to conduct daily serviceability inspections and engage with stakeholders to ensure adherence to procedures outlined in the Airport manual. This includes:

  • Meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and completing daily serviceability inspections and audits
  • Enforcing airfield operational policies and procedures
  • Participating in all training requirements and maintaining ongoing competency
  • Educating internal and external stakeholders on safe airfield operations
  • Assisting in accident/incident response as per the Airport Emergency Plan

To succeed in this position, you should possess experience working collaboratively in an airside environment, a basic understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS), and excellent communication skills. You should be passionate about delivering customer-focused services and thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Policies and Procedures: Enforce airfield operational policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Training and Competency: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain your expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
