Job Summary

Lead the delivery of rail projects, overseeing pre-planning and construction management to achieve time and budget objectives. Successfully drive project completion in accordance with TAO requirements.

Deliver works that fully satisfy client expectations of time, cost, safety and environmental objectives. Manage site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and fulfill project obligations in line with company procedures, TfNSW requirements, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with TAO requirements and quality standards.
  • Review and arrange approval of designs as construction progresses.
  • Oversee all construction management to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
  • Responsible for creation, updating and adherence to the project programme.
  • Liaise with Project Planner to ensure adequate track possession by methods of long-term application or As Trains Permit bid sheets.
  • Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislative requirements relevant to the project.
  • Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Structures).
  • Chartered Engineering Status, working towards, or with intention to apply.
  • Current Class 1 (Minimum) Driving License.
  • 8-15 years' post graduate experience with 8+ years site based.
  • Demonstrated delivery of minor/major projects to program and budget specifications in a leadership role.
