Job Title: Patient Transport Call Centre Operator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Transport Call Centre Operator.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and timely transportation of patients.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inbound calls from customers, providing accurate and empathetic information and support.
  • Plan and organise bookings to maximise resource efficiency, ensuring that patients receive timely and reliable transportation services.
  • Prepare reports to track booking allocation, progress and outcome, enabling effective management and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including Dispatch Coordinators and patient transport teams, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
  • Adhere to compliance and prescribed protocols to deliver timely and efficient service.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays.
  • Excellent spoken communication skills and ability to write clearly.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 45 wpm).
  • Proficient in Windows-based software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
