Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Transport Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transport services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of patients with various medical conditions.
  • Provide individualized patient care and treatment during on-road transport, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including assessment results, treatment plans, and outcome evaluations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification recognized by relevant authorities.
  • Proven experience in non-emergency patient transport, preferably in a leadership or specialized role.
  • Excellent clinical skills, including patient assessment, intervention, and documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid Victorian driver's license and willingness to drive in various traffic conditions.
