The role involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, providing exceptional care, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures. As a Transport Care Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient transportation while adhering to State Road laws and standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to make a difference in people's lives by providing compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
You must have previous experience or a Cert III in Patient Transport, along with current First Aid and CPR certification and a full Victorian Driver's Licence. Recent graduates from Cert III must demonstrate 100 supervised clinical placement hours.
Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide high-quality care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures
- Complete vehicle and equipment checks to ensure operational readiness
- Timely completion of comprehensive Patient Care Records (PCR)
- Comply with State Road laws and standards for emergency and non-emergency patient transport
- Hold a satisfactory National Police Check within the last 6 months
- Hold a full Victoria Drivers Licence
- Hold a current Working with Children Check for employment
- Provide a satisfactory driving history report
- Full immunisation history including COVID and influenza
- Flexibility to work out of surrounding Branches when required
