The role of the Material Requirements Planner (MRP) bridges operational planning, supply chain management, and cost-efficiency in aeronautical material support. The ideal candidate will identify and coordinate timely and seamless supplies of operator materials to Virgin Australia's global network of AMOs and MROs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reduce supply chain risks to ensure our fleet operates on schedule and within budget
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance supply chain efficiency
  • Monitor vendor performance and occasionally travel domestically or internationally to address operational needs

Requirements:

  • Supply Chain Mastery: Experience in Supply Chain disciplines, including Warehousing, Repair Cycle, Purchasing, Inventory Planning, Freight Management, Contract Management, Vendor Performance Management, Procurement, or AOG desk experience
  • Tech Savvy: Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Trax or Supply systems advantageous
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in coordinating diverse stakeholders in fast-paced environments
  • Communication Pro: Clear and concise communication, whether reporting or collaborating with teams

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Aviation Know-How: Knowledge of engineering, maintenance planning, and/or aeronautical components

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
