About the Role

This position is situated within our MacKillop National After Hours Services Unit, which provides high-quality residential care that supports the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of vulnerable young people.

The After Hours Support Worker shift commences at 9pm, and we have multiple casual and full-time opportunities available in Melbourne, VIC. The position reports to the Team Leader/Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • To be successful in this role, you will have at least 3-5 years' experience in youth services or residential care;
  • You will need to relate to and work with young people who have social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties;
  • You must be able to implement behaviour management plans for young people with challenging behaviours;
  • You should have experience and understanding of OH&S issues in the workplace;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential;
