Clinical Neuropsychology Specialist for Youth Mental Health

Orygen, a prestigious healthcare organisation, seeks a highly skilled Senior Neuropsychologist to join our Custodial Forensic Youth Mental Health Service (FYMHS) team.
About the RoleWe are looking for an exceptional professional to provide specialist neuropsychology assessment and support to young people in custody who present with complex, neuropsychological needs. The successful candidate will form part of the Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD) team within Custodial FYMHS, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and effective treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide timely neuropsychology assessments and expert opinions to support young people and their service providers.
- Consult and liaise with the young person's care team and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Custodial FYMHS Team Leads and multidisciplinary teams to develop excellence in clinical service delivery.
- Provide teaching, second opinion, and secondary consultation to primary and specialist mental health services.
- Accredited Master or Doctoral program in Clinical Neuropsychology recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- General registration and Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Minimum 5 years experience in applying Clinical Neuropsychology, particularly in youth mental health.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the youth justice and/or criminal justice system and other relevant settings is desirable.
- A competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
