We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Mine Surveyor to join our team in Western Australia. This role will involve conducting survey tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to the growth of a mid-tier gold mining company.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all activities comply with safety standards, company policies, and environmental regulations.
- Complete workplace inspections and report hazards per company policy.
- Attend all required pre-start meetings.
- Actively promote safety within the workplace.
- Maintain survey equipment in good working order.
- Carry out survey tasks as directed by the Senior Mine Surveyor.
- Perform routine tasks according to survey procedures and standards.
- Assist with set outs, pickups, and mark-ups for mining operations.
- Collect and process survey data, produce plans, reports, and spatial information ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Progress towards working autonomously in survey tasks.
- Possession of or progress towards a Survey Qualification (Diploma or Higher).
- Experience with basic office software such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong focus on teamwork.
