About the Role

As a participant in our vacation program, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in real-world mining operations. This is an exciting chance to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills in a dynamic industry.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in on-the-job training to enhance your understanding of various mining disciplines, including Geology, Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, and Metallurgy.
  • Work from Perth to Leonora/Laverton on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster with 12-hour shifts, providing a unique opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of FIFO work.
Requirements
  • You should be an undergraduate student studying Geology, Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Surveying.
  • A strong enthusiasm for starting a career in the mining industry and a willingness to learn are essential.
