Job Overview

We seek a Mine Surveyor to join our mining project in an exciting brownfields hard-rock environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform surveys for stockpile volumes, end-of-month pickups, ore block layouts, and waste dump construction.
  • Conduct timely pickups and prepare reports for excavations.
  • Install and maintain survey control points across pits, ramps, crests, and toes.
  • Enter survey data into relevant systems accurately.
  • Produce required documentation, including digging notes, drill and development plans.
  • Review and submit survey reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in surveying or geospatial science.
  • Experience in open pit mining is required.
  • Strong people management skills are essential.
  • Effective problem solving skills are necessary.
  • A current driver's licence is required.
