Forensicare Research Fellow

**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly motivated and competitive candidate to undertake research that supports the research agenda of our project.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be involved in delivering recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System, working collaboratively with the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare).
This PhD scholarship is available for a researcher enrolled in a PhD program at Swinburne University of Technology.
Job Description- Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science
- Full-time, fixed-term position at Alphington, Victoria
- A stipend of $40,000 p.a. for 3 years
- Investigate improved care continuity and coordination
- Examine the efficacy of Forensicare regional forensic mental health teams as they are implemented across the state of Victoria over the coming years
- Deliver recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System
- Bachelor degree honours and/or a research master's degree in psychological sciences, health sciences, population and global health, and those with relevant industry experience, with a First Class Honours (average grade 80-100) or equivalent.
- Meet the entry requirements for the relevant Higher Degree by Research at Swinburne University of Technology
- The capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative manner
- Problem solving and organisational capacities with the ability to manage task deadlines
