About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate People Advisor to join our team at the Broken Hill base. This is a true generalist role with varied and interesting work in a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to advise and coach on attraction, retention, employee relations, and industrial relations.
  • Lead all recruitment activities, including candidate management, coordination of interviews, and onboarding of new starters.
  • Resolve workplace issues, investigations, and case management.
  • Deliver HR projects and guide policy development and the implementation of new legislation.
  • Provide employee relations and industrial advice to employees.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Human Resource Practices.
  • Experience in interpreting employment Legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Highly effective administration, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management and relationship building ability.
