Role Overview

As a casual role, you will have the opportunity to explore Sydney's vibrant streets, engage with diverse groups of people, and deliver exceptional walking tours that leave a lasting impression.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Sydney's history, culture, and landmarks.
  • Provide entertaining and informative commentary, combining storytelling with interesting facts and anecdotes.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the tour.
  • Maintain a professional and positive image while representing Sydney and its attractions.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills. You will also need to have a good level of physical fitness to lead walking tours throughout the day.

  1. Possess a genuine passion for Sydney and its history, culture, and landmarks.
  2. Have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse groups of people.
  3. Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic, friendly demeanor.
  4. Demonstrate time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and adhere to schedules.
  5. Have a good level of physical fitness to be able to lead walking tours throughout the day.
  6. Be able to work independently and take initiative while following guidelines and tour routes.
Benefits

This is a casual role, working shifts that fit around your university commitments or other schedules. We require at least one weekday and one weekend day availability, but more is possible.
