About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our technical workforce at Bell Textron Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the organisation's technical workforce and allocating resources to provide high-quality maintenance and modification services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the maintenance team, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure that aircraft are maintained in a state of airworthiness, and that all maintenance activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, and that all maintenance personnel have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with quality and safety standards, and that all maintenance personnel are trained and competent to perform their duties.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our customers, ensuring that their maintenance needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance, with experience in heavy maintenance and modifications.
  • Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of CASA Part 145 and CAR30 regulations, and experience and qualifications on light and medium Bell, Airbus and Leonardo models.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as aviation or engineering.
