Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Airswift. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our helicopter fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the organization's workforce and allocate resources to provide high-quality maintenance and modifications to our clients' helicopter fleet.
- Provide leadership for the full scope of activities carried out by the workforce.
- Report all safety-related matters in accordance with our Safety Management System (SMS) and make appropriate recommendations to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency.
- Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.
- Monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability, and safety standards.
- Ensure all Aircraft-related certification paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with the system of certification and within Company and CASA deadlines.
- Ensure all Maintenance Releases issued are in accordance with the release instructions.
- Perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer.
- Assist in preparing quotes for service work.
- Mentoring, training, and overall managing the performance of the workforce.
- Customer interface/resolving issues.
Requirements
- CASA B1.3 or B2 Licence.
- Extensive experience in a supervisory or management role.
- 10+ years Aircraft Maintenance Experience.
- B412 Type Rating.
- Deep knowledge of Part 145 and CAR30 regulations.
- Be able to obtain Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Full Australian working rights – must have current Permanent residency or Citizenship.
