We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team as a Facilities Technician.

Job Description
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team to ensure the safety, functionality, and overall maintenance of our property's facilities and equipment.
  • We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends, with varying shift times.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular inspections of the property's facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs. You will also conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of systems.

As a collaborative team member, you will work closely with various departments to create a positive experience for our guests. This may involve troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various building systems, including minor plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a related field, preferably in facilities maintenance or a trade.
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical, and gardening.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in facility maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
