Job Title: Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on complex baggage handling systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Inspections of mechanical systems and components to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Diagnostics and repair of mechanical systems using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Technical Support for customers and adherence to WHS standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical, and at least 3-5 years post-trade experience as a Service Technician.
  • Strong mechanical background working on industrial automated equipment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and good written and verbal communication skills (English).

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical).
  • Experience in logistics, postal sorting and baggage handling systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Automation experience (conveyors and sortation systems).
