Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with expertise in fostering positive workplace relationships, collaborating closely with an energetic and passionate team. This role involves aligning organisational objectives with employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to management and staff on operational human resources matters, including recruitment, policy interpretation and implementation, contract management, and exit interviews.
  • Support human resources functions by executing generalist activities.
  • Coordinate performance reviews across the organisation.
  • Raise requisitions and purchase orders according to established practices.
  • Participate in broader human resources projects, taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Carry out additional tasks within your skill set as assigned by the Coordinator, Human Resources Operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, accompanied by demonstrated industry experience.
  • Ability to provide advice and support to management on resolving complex disciplinary and industrial relations matters.
  • Capacity to interpret and implement policies and contracts.
  • Familiarity with Local Government employment legislation is advantageous.
  • Strong consultation skills and experience working with executives.
