Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with expertise in fostering positive workplace relationships, collaborating closely with an energetic and passionate team. This role involves aligning organisational objectives with employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff on operational human resources matters, including recruitment, policy interpretation and implementation, contract management, and exit interviews.
- Support human resources functions by executing generalist activities.
- Coordinate performance reviews across the organisation.
- Raise requisitions and purchase orders according to established practices.
- Participate in broader human resources projects, taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Carry out additional tasks within your skill set as assigned by the Coordinator, Human Resources Operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, accompanied by demonstrated industry experience.
- Ability to provide advice and support to management on resolving complex disciplinary and industrial relations matters.
- Capacity to interpret and implement policies and contracts.
- Familiarity with Local Government employment legislation is advantageous.
- Strong consultation skills and experience working with executives.
