Strategic HR Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to partner with senior leaders across blue collar or operational workforces.

  • Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels;
  • A proven track record of delivering HR initiatives aligned to business objectives;
  • Expertise in enterprise bargaining, union relationships, and ER/IR management;
  • A passion for driving cultural change programs that embed organisational values;
  • Critical thinking, data insights, and a solutions-focused approach;
About the Role

This operational role has strategic elements, supporting leaders in building high performing teams and a positive workplace culture.

  • Support the timely and effective resolution of workplace conflicts ensuring outcomes are low risk, compliant and aligned to our values and policies;
  • Identify and mitigate ER/IR risks through proactive education, policy updates, and training of leaders and the workforce;
  • Partner on industrial relations, including enterprise bargaining and award interpretation;
  • Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, talent development, and succession;
  • Coach and support leaders on performance, engagement, and leadership effectiveness; and
  • Embed our values through culture, engagement, and improvement initiatives;
To Be Successful

You will be required to:

  • Have at least 5 years' experience in a strategic HR role within environments like manufacturing, FCMG, logistics, heavy industry, or similar;
  • Bring strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Hold a proven track record of delivering HR initiatives aligned to business objectives;
  • Demonstrate expertise in enterprise bargaining, union relationships, and ER/IR management;
  • Show a passion for driving cultural change programs that embed organisational values;
  • Apply critical thinking, data insights, and a solutions-focused approach;
